Cedric The Saxon

"Cedric the Saxon"
submitted by Karen Sue Bolm, Arizona

Cedric was the victim of a divorce.  We rescued her from the Moscow ID, City Dog Pound On New Year's Eve of 1973, and she filled the position of family dog well for many years.  We named her Cedric because my husband said that all Old English Sheepdogs should be named Cedric.  It fit her well.  A friend once said that if anything happened to Cedric, all the love in the world would be gone.  I've chosen to make her square in blues and greens because my most fond memories of her are from our outdoor adventures: hiking, camping, skiing, and canoeing, in Idaho and Alaska.  She died in Arizona during the summer of 1987 and she  is still remembered with love.
